Among Loire Valley Wines from Anjou, there are some that perfectly fit your summer aperitives: they are called Rosés. One particular feature that makes Anjou Region different is that 3 distinctive rosés exist, from the driest to the sweetest:

• Rosé d'Anjou

At Château de Bellevue, our rosés are made out of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gamay and Grolleau. All these red grapes need to have a 6 hour-long maceration to slighlty color the white juice inside before pressing.
